I got to thinking about spending time with your best friend. A best friend is someone who you want to spend time with. You desire to tell them everything about your day and your thoughts. It is the purest of joy, knowing that they would listen and even add to your conversation. My wife, Alice is my best friend. We talk about everything and all the time. If we are not talking then we are texting. When we go some time not communicating then something feels off. Something is wrong and you want that connection fixed. Same with Jesus, I talk to him all the time about everything. Our relationship is not just a Sunday and Wednesday limited meeting time. We have talks all the time. Best friend time.
