What is in a name? This is the prevailing question as we prod through Genesis 11: a passage that exhibits a people's desire to build a name for themselves, and from which the name Babel originated. Inherent in all of mankind is the self-seeking pursuit to elevate their names, above their original birthnames. In these pursuits of pride, the predominant question that besets us is what does God think? In this sermon, Pastor Jon Douglas shows us that if you are self-seeking, judgment resides in your pursuit of a name, but if you are seeking the name above all names, all the glory points to Christ alone!
