Mark 11 presents us with a very contrasting incident between two kingdoms. The world, with its rulers, is usually concerned with an outward display of power characterized by pomp and extravagance, embracing the notion that ruling power must be clearly seen and felt. However, this is contrary to how God operates in His Kingdom; one which is characterized by lowliness and meekness. God is more concerned with the salvation of men's souls which is achieved through Christ's suffering (an outward display of weakness). John Musyimi, in this sermon, shows us that the Kingdom of Christ comes as greatness clothed in meekness!
