Bio Kevin M. Ban, MD is a seasoned physician who has practiced clinical medicine for over 25 years. He started his career at Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians, Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and served as Chief Medical Officer within the BIDMC system. Most recently, he was the EVP & Global Chief Medical Officer of Walgreens Boots Alliance where he led Walgreens’ national pandemic response. Previously, he was the Chief Medical Officer for athenahealth. Kevin is frequently cited as a medical expert and guest of national news programs including The Today Show, MSNBC News, Morning Joe, Bloomberg TV and Good Morning America. He has over 30 academic publications and was recognized in 2023 by Modern Healthcare as one of the 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives in the United States.
