As the 5th angel is released to mark the bond-servants of the Lord, he begins with the 144,000. As with nearly everything in this wonderful book, this number most likely represents "who" these people are more than it does a literal number of "how many." We begin to see the processes of maturity that the Bride is going through to be complete in Christ and marked with the invisible mark of the Lord.
