The Lord warns us that we need to have some preparedness for when he comes the second time to our world. For that we need to examine ourselves to determine what we need to ask pardon for and for what we could still do better. For this to be done well we need to know well the life of Jesus Christ and to know his teachings. Otherwise, our standards to judge ourselves would be lacking and substandard.
