Why not try to do a Shema several times a day?
Published 2 years, 9 months ago
Description
The Jews had the practice of reciting the Shema three times a day. This was logical since we in our love for God although theoretically certain in practice we forget it or go about our activities having a different idea in mind or a different love that we aim at. The recital of the Shema or in the Catholic custom the morning offering could help us keep ourselves straight and sure towards God. The Shema goes like this: Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God, the LORD is one. And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
