The bottom line of our relationship with God is about how much we trust him. If we don't then we would be in doubt of his goodness. Moses doubted when he struck the rock as instructed by God to do but with the doubt whether that would be enough to get water to gush out of the rock, he struck it again. God was displeased. He punished him by denying him entry into the Promised Land. God only showed it to him from a distance. We should not doubt God on his word. When we experience some doubts we need to make acts of faith again and again to counteract this doubt.
