We celebrate today the last feast day of the Christmas Season and with it, the season officially ends. Today we commemorate the Lord's Baptism. He identified himself with us human beings in need of salvation by becoming man, and then he had himself baptized. What humility of the Savior! We should be reminded of the need to be repentant of our sins. No matter how we claim that Jesus has forgiven our sins, none of this can be true if we do not repent of them. With that step undertaken, then we can see the probability of God's forgiveness. That is His to give but for us to know that for a fact, we have the human priest representing Him to do that.
