Episode Details

After announcing to His Apostles that He was going to undergo His Passion and Death on the Cross and then resurrect from the dead, He prodded His apostles to imitate Him, i.e., each of them would have to deny himself, carry his cross each day, and follow Him. He will go ahead and lead. Then, we need to follow His steps. He further says that we need to lose our life so that we could find it. If we insist on saving our life from suffering, we would not succeed. It will even be worse. He asks a very serious question of each of us, namely, "What will it profit me if I win the world but lose my soul?" We'd reply in the negative. It would not be worth it. God in the end of time will reward us according to how we lived on earth. Hence, we need to prepare well for that day of reckoning.
