Episode Details

Jesus is rejected by a Samaritan town since He was set to proceed to Jerusalem. He suffered being discriminated against. His attitude to the Samaritan woman is totally the opposite. He cared for her salvation and conversed with her and led her up to her conversion. In today's gospel, it is a shame that they rejected Him. James and John wanted to bid fire from heaven to consume that town. Jesus taught them that we need to take such a discrimination well and bounce back. Our Lord's solution was to simply pass another town. He respected that other town to remain with their bias. They would learn the better when the proper time comes.
