OG 270: Panthers back to square one | NC State and UNC seasons on the brink | Grayson McCall and our relationship with football

Episode 329 Published 1 year, 6 months ago
Description

Joe Ovies and Joe Giglio open the show with the Carolina Panthers having the worst possible outcome in Chicago before going through NFL highlights in Lightning Round style. Back in the Triangle, Giglio really wasn't in the mood to discuss anything that happened between NC State and Wake Forest after witnessing Grayson McCall go down after another traumatic hit on the field. It opens a discussion about our relationship with watching and talking about football. The guys eventually get around to the Wolfpack's loss to the Deans and what it means for the rest of the season. Between NC State and North Carolina, it's setting up for a potential season ending showdown where the winner simply has an opportunity to reach bowl eligibility. In the larger conversation about the College Football Playofff, the ACC might have a window for multiple bids thanks to...Vanderbilt!? The show closes with running through a few OG Sports Phone calls.
