Hey there.
Co-hosts Ellen Hyslop and Steph Rotz are donning their investigative hats for today’s episode of The GIST of It. First, the gals are looking into a reported payment dispute in the Women’s Professional Fastpitch (WPF) league, as players allege they have not been fully compensated for the most recent season. Unfortunately, we’ve seen these types of claims before, particularly in pro women’s sports leagues, and El and Steph are ready to break it down.
Then in part two, the gals shift gears to a disturbing trend in NCAA volleyball, as multiple teams have refused to play against San José State University amid speculation surrounding the gender identity of one of the team’s players.
