No matter how long it has been for any mother that has experienced any type of pregnancy or infant loss, there is always a sort of pain that sits with you. Sometimes it sits in the background, and other it stinks harder than you ever would have thought possible. In this episode I sat down to speak with my friend Sara Elizabeth, who runs the Maryland Chapter of Lighthouse Reflections Grief and Wellness Care. A non profit organization that gives support in so many ways through a network of women who have either lost a pregnancy, had a stillbirth, experienced terminal for medical reasons, or any other infant and child loss.
The First Annual Beacon of Light Walk to honor these angel babies and offer support to all who need it will be held on Oct 13th.
