I think one of the reasons is we have been hearing this for decades, and Jesus didn't come yet, so we adjusted with a mindset, yes, He will come, but we don't need to talk about it when He comes; He just comes. Is it something we can ignore like that? Absolutely no. In the early days, the main highlights of a message are the second coming of Jesus and urging people to repent from their sins and follow Christ sincerely.
