Why Do We Worship Devi during Navaratri Dasara has been one of the earliest festivals celebrated in Prasanthi Nilayam dating back to 1946. As one reflects on its long and sacred history, the various aspects of the Navaratri celebration in Puttaparthi, and the powerful discourses Bhagawan kindly delivered year after year, decade after decade, the lessons and learnings one derives are profound and extremely relevant for the times. Why should we workship The Mother? How should we do it? Why is Yajnam done? What benefit can we derive from it? Why is Dasara so significant in the festival calendar of our lives? This Satsangh is an attempt to discuss some of these questions in the light of the precious messages that Bhagawan has graciously gifted to all of us during the Dasara celebrations over the years.
