Jonah Hart Memorial 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk

Episode 647 Published 1 year, 7 months ago
Description
Executive Director of Cancer Bridges, Stephanie Ciranni, and consultant Melissa Migliaro, spoke with Jim Cunningham live on the WQED-FM morning show to discuss the Jonah Hart Memorial 5k Run on October 5th in Millvale. This 5k run and 1 mile walk commemorates the life of Jonah Hart, a beloved member of the Pittsburgh community who bravely faced glioblastoma, a terminal brain cancer, and passed away on October 2, 2023. His parents, Pittsburgh Symphony violinist Lorien Benet Hart and Christopher Hart hope to turn a tragedy into something good. All proceeds of the 5k run and walk will go towards Cancer Bridges, a Pittsburgh organization that is dedicated to providing comprehensive support services to individuals and families affected by cancer. Melissa and Stephanie discuss the wonderful things Cancer Bridges is doing for the Pittsburgh community, and their own background in the arts.
