About Olga: My name is Olga Reinholdt; I received a Master of Science in Psychology in Moscow, Russia. In America, I have received ICF PCC credentials in life coaching and have had a private mental-health coaching practice combining educational and consulting services in Psychology and coaching. I saw becoming a licensed counselor as advancing my skills and career opportunities, and I enrolled in a CACREP program. During this program and after talking to many people on the receiving end of Licensed Counseling, I realized that the CACREP curriculum was a pale shadow of therapy and practice of mental-health support. And that the way Counseling service is rendered is especially damaging to children, who are often mandated to see a Counselor. After realizing how distant Counseling is from my values and aspirations, I quit the program to continue practice as a mental health coach, to promote the wellbeing of children within their families, and to enable parents to be effective support for their children's mental health.
