295. Practical Ways to Know What to Say in a Blessing

We want to speak words of blessing over our children, but how do we know what to say? To bless a child intentionally, we must first sit with God in prayer. Ask him for insight and to reveal their strengths and weaknesses.
Take time to study your child. Notice where they shine and where they stumble. See the places where they are tempted or challenged. When you know them deeply, you can speak life into the areas that need it most.
Speak blessings over them that are specific to their journey—words that guide them, protect them, and uplift them. God has equipped you to bless them with power and purpose.
