OG 267: Panthers attached to NFL trade speculation | NC State's QB future | SEC & B1G CFP power grab | Lightning Round!

Episode 324 Published 1 year, 6 months ago
Description

Joe Ovies and Joe Giglio open the show highlighting ways to help western North Carolina in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Transitioning to the news of the day, they use the Miami Dolphins woes at QB to highlight how the Carolina Panthers will be attached to all sorts of trade speculation the rest of the season. Is it something the franchise should truly explore? Over to NC State, where Dave Doeren was intentionally vague about Grayson McCall's return. Giglio says that's by design. Meanwhile, the SEC and Big Ten are back to the negotiating table trying to figure out a potential scheduling agreeing. Ovies thinks this is all related to future TV deals. In the Lightning Round, they look back on Dikembe Mutombo and Pete Rose, who both passes away within 24 hours. Michael Felder, from "Hand in the Dirt", joins the show to look at how the College Football Playoff bracket can shake out.
