No teen drama here as the X-Men and Acolytes search the Sphinx as they try to stop Apocalypse from returning. This season finale(ish) is filled with big moments and has the most comic book feel of the entire season. And, it is impossible to discuss without comparing it to the live action X-Men: Apocalypse film.
Cyclops is Waiting for Me is our weekly podcast series where we are going back and watching EVERY-SINGLE-X-MEN-ANIMATED-EPISODE we can find. This podcast started with the original 1992 X-Men: The Animated Series building up to the release of X-Men ‘97. Along the way, we’ve also launched our companion show The Xavier Files with interviews of members of the X-Men community including voice actors from the series!
Since season 2 of X-Men ‘97 is now a ways off, we are returning for the second half of our first watch through of X-Men: Evolution.
