Alicia Escobedo, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is a graduate of the San Diego State University/UC San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Language and Communicative Disorders. Her research focuses on typical and atypical language development in bilingual children through community-based research methods. Alicia recently completed her Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology. Her dissertation work was funded by an NIH F31 Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award.
