Y Combinator plans to bring back in person Demo Days for top investors

Published 1 year, 9 months ago
Description

Y Combinator plans to return to in-person Demo Day events by the end of this year. CEO Garry Tan announced that the fall cohort Demo Day will occur on December 4 and will feature an in-person element. These events allow startups to pitch to investors and the technology ecosystem. In-person attendance will be limited to investors who have contributed at least $50,000 to Y Combinator companies in the past two years. This transition to in-person format follows a trend of resuming events after the COVID-19 pandemic. Y Combinator has fostered startup establishment in the Bay Area and increased its annual cohort offerings to four, with a fall program starting on September 29 and a spring program launching in 2025.
