Description
In this segment, host Phil Tower welcomes back Melissa F. Kaelin…, an author, writer, painter, and Aurora Chaser living in Michigan.

Melissa has led many community initiatives, including founding the Michigan Aurora Chasers, creating the Social Gap Experiment, and co-founding the annual Aurora Summit.

Melissa’s Book “Beyond the 45th Parallel” is an expanded and refined 2nd Edition with seven new chapters just released this year.  Melissa founded the Michigan Aurora Chasers, a Facebook group of 100,000 Aurora Chasers, established in January 2021.
Melissa has helped thousands of people see the Northern Lights for the first time, encouraged Aurora fans to consider attending the Aurora Summit, and, most importantly, reminded us that the autumnal equinox begins the prime viewing period for the Northern Lights.
