Keep a thankful state of mind.

Gratitude is the best remedy I know for anger, bitterness, and resentment. Focusing on all the good things we have in our lives allows us to know that we are going to be alright. 


Once you know that you’re good, no one has the power to push your buttons and yank your chains. You’re free. Gratitude equals freedom. 


What are your blessings?


Did you wake up this morning? Give thanks. For whatever measure of health you have, give thanks. 


Can you walk, talk, see, feel, hear, and understand? Give thanks. 


Did you have anything to eat? Give thanks. Clean water to drink? Give thanks. 


Do you have any one who cares about your wellbeing in your life? Give thanks. 


Have you ever overcome any difficulties or challenges? Have you reached any goals? Give thanks. 


For whatever opportunities you have today to work towards meeting your needs and reaching your goals, give thanks.


Whatever is going on with us, gratitude is the correct response.
