Speak No Evil Movie Review
Description
Episode 97….shhhhhhhhh…don’t speak. Just listen. In this episode, hosts Cupcake (Jose) and Emcee (Alex) dive into “Speak No Evil”, the new Blumhouse written and directed by James Watkins (heads up: It’s a remake of a 2022 Danish thriller of the same name!). They discuss the performances, especially James McAvoy’s bonkers, drolling, hulking performance and evaluate the film’s effectiveness in creating tension and delivering a thrilling experience. With robust audience participation and some humorous tangents, the hosts ultimately provide a nuanced perspective on whether the new “Speak No Evil” is a watch or a skip, touching on awkward scenarios in the film, its portrayal of family dynamics, and audience reactions in their respective screenings.
