We often keep people we don't know at arm's length. In the case of the early Church, as you'll hear today from Pastor Daniel, they knew exactly who Paul was. Paul was known for his persecution of Christians. When everyone else took a step back, Barnabas took a step forward. He welcomed Paul into the fold and got him connected. This led to the Gospel spreading. Next time you meet someone new, meet them as Christ meets you, with grace and acceptance.
