Michael and Dodo Pegher - Operascout

The founders of Operascout, Michael and Dodo Pegher, speak with Jim Cunningham about Operascout which hosts an event Friday September 20th at Pittsburgh Opera in the Bitz Opera Factory starting at noon. Michael has experience singing in the German opera houses. Operascout has organized a panel discussion with Nic Muni, Stage Director; Robert Boldin of Pittsburgh Opera; and Marianne Cornetti of Pittsburgh Opera Festival. The event is free and open to the public. Dodo is from Oldenburg, Germany and organizes the business details of Operascout with her knowledge of the arts scene in Germany which hires opera singers at one of the highest levels in the world. Michael and Dodo also describe the success of the podcast "Sex, Drugs, and Opera," which has tens of thousands of followers with Michael as co host. They offer observations on the current climate for classical music on the world scene.
