Wondering what the best Blood Angel detachment is?  Wonder no more.  We run down the comparables and focus a little bit on the Liberator Assault Group from the upcoming Blood Angel Codex.   It’s good and will likely but what current BA players try while they figure out the nuances of the other two detachments.

I tried out the Liberator Assault Group this past weekend using Dante, Mephiston, The Sanguinor, Lemartes and a lot of standard red marines.  Including some Blade Guard.  It did really well and should be a powerful list right out of the gate for BA players.

The Plus 1 Attack and Plus 2 Strength combined with some unit abilities are pretty amazing. I wasn’t sure about the Blade Guard at firs but I honestly liked how they performed when accompanied by a Lieutenant.
