Recently I have had several friends tell me they are dealing with cancer. What do you do in times like this? Luckily, both of them are fighters. Neither will give up.
Who among us has never faced some kind of adversity? Who among us has never seen life go horribly wrong?
But it’s what happens after that truly matters.
It’s how we pick ourselves up in the aftermath that builds character and makes us who we are.
No one asks to walk through hell, but if you must, learn from it. Become stronger. Hold your head up high, and bravely walk through. And when you get to the other side, be proud of yourself for all you have survived.
