Divonia is trying to protect her 2-year-old granddaughter from her son, whom she describes as a dangerous "malignant narcissist father." She is supportive of her daughter-in-law, and the divorce which is in process, but feels helpless. Sven listens carefully and compassionately to Divonia's situation and encourages her to see how her own experiences may have contributed to the situation, and how she might begin to see a way out.
