I. The Son of Man will be delivered into the hands of the chief priests and scribes, vv17-18. II. The Son of Man will be tried, convicted, and sentenced to death, 18b. III. The Son of Man will be delivered over to the Gentiles to be ridiculed, tortured and killed, v19a. IV. The Son of Man will be raised from the dead, v19b.
