Penn State players we're interested in watching this weekend

While nonconference games aren't the best opportunities to view the team's talent against comparable competition, it is a great time to see the younger players on the Penn State roster who will likely get a chance to see the field in the second half. Today, we run down the top players we're interested in watching play against Bowling Green on Saturday. 

Will Penn State star running back recruit Quinton Martin get his time to shine? How about freshman quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer? We discuss those players and more!

Practice preview

Penn State opens practice on Wednesday evening, and Blue White Illustrated will be on hand to see and hear all the relevant information and details. We discuss the things we're looking for, including Julian Fleming's position, the health of the team's pass catchers, and the offensive line combinations we see during the ten-minute window of practice. 

Finally, we review Saturday's game one last time with the standout players, schemes, and developments from the win over West Virginia. We will discuss Tom Allen's defense, Andy Kotelnicki's scheme, and the top players from Saturday.
