First a look at the events of the day

Then Dragnet starring Jack Webb, originally broadcast September 6, 1951, 73 years ago, The Big Seventeen.  A teen-age riot in a movie theatre leads to the discovery of a marijuana and goof-ball ring. The seventeen-year-old "pusher" is about to start distributing much stronger narcotics.

We follow that with the news from 73 years ago, then Inspector Thorne starring Staats Cotsworth, originally broadcast September 6, 1951, 73 years ago,  Nickels and Dimes Murder.  A woman is found beaten to death by a handkerchief filled with coins.  The woman’s estranged husband is suspected. 

Then Counterspy starring Don Maclaughlin and Mandel Kramer, originally broadcast September 6, 1949, 75 years ago, The Case of the Arrogant Arsonist.   The counterspies are forced to act as Cupids in reverse.

Next  Confession, originally broadcast September 6, 1953, 71 years ago, George S Andress.    A fifteen-year old confesses to stealing jewelry and money. 

Finally, Claudia, originally broadcast September 6, 1948, 76 years ago.  Opening night jitters.  For everyone except Claudia...
