Justin and Dan recap Auburn football’s 73-3 win over Alabama A&M to open the 2024 season. They start with a deep dive on the Tigers’ new wide receivers and why things looked different Saturday night — even when compared to other paycheck blowouts.
The guys also discuss Payton Thorne’s many highs and noticeable lows from the big win, a dominant defensive performance that could have been better, a strong night from the special teams and what appeared to be an injury-free contest for an Auburn team that went quite deep in all three phases.
The episode ends with a journey around the games that caught their eye in Week 1, a Mount Rushmore discussion of villain performances in superhero films and a salute to redneck caviar.
