Without Brandon Aiyuk, How Good Can Steelers Passing Offense Be? | Steelers Morning Rush
Description
Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today, it's the how good the Steelers passing offense can be, now that they've missed on Brandon Aiyuk and all of the rest of the receivers on the open market.
Alan made some comparisons to some 2023 offense that were based around basically just one wide receivers pulling the weight, as the Steelers will need George Pickens to do, finding similarities to last year's Los Angeles Chargers, Cleveland Browns and Atlanta Falcons.
He also took a look at what level of passing offense a team needs to have in order to have playoff success and how not adding to the wide receivers room might have sunk the Steelers chances at reaching their ultimate goal this season.
