As the Washington Huskies prepare for their first game as members of the Big Ten against Weber State, coach Jedd Fisch's team has plenty of important players who are looking to make an impact in the first game of his tenure, including defensive tackle Jayvon Parker, who can unlock defensive coordinator Steve Belichick's scheme, wide receiver Audric Harris, left tackle Soane Faasolo, and transfer portal acquisition Cameron Broussard. Fisch's team also named its six captains, quarterback Will Rogers, running back Cameron Davis, linebackers Carson Bruener and Alphonzo Tuputala, safety Kamren Fabiculanan, and kicker Grady Gross as the leaders of the team, while the head coach also sent a not-so-subtle message to wide receiver recruits at the end of his Monday press conference as the Huskies are looking for one more prospect to add to the 2025 class, namely four-star recruits like Michigan commit Andrew Marsh, Missouri commit Donovan Olugbode, and Mission Viejo High School star Phillip Bell.
