In 2011, Latoya Ammons, along with her mother and three children, relocated to a rental property in Gary, Indiana. However, within a few days, they began to encounter a series of strange and disturbing occurrences.
The family first observed an unusual influx of black flies, followed by the sounds of footsteps, the discovery of wet footprints, and fleeting glimpses of a shadowy figure. Over the subsequent seven months, the Ammons children reportedly exhibited extraordinary behaviors, such as levitating above their beds, walking on the ceiling, and speaking in unusual, deep voices.
The purported hauntings, which some attribute to demonic possession, escalated to the point where Latoya Ammons underwent an exorcism, lost custody of her children, and ultimately vacated the residence.
