"Stories are my art, and I'm enthusiastic about sharing them," says Erik Slangerup.
Erik is a children's book author, app maker, and storyteller.
"Plucked" is his debut middle grade novel, due for release Summer 2022 by Aladdin Books (Simon & Schuster). "Smacked" is the planned sequel to follow in 2023. Eric's previously published picture books include "Dirt Boy," "Monsterlicious," and "Santa and Me."
Erik is also co-creator of StorySnacker, the award-winning read-aloud app for parents on the go, available on the App Store. In 2019, it was ranked "Top 5 in the World for Family & Kids" by the Webby Awards. It features a library of snack-size stories, and has collected 8 international awards.
