Derek Lobo has been in the apartment industry for decades.  First, as a consultant then taking those skills and working with clients on billions of dollars of apartment-based real estate transactions through Rock Apartment Advisors.  After a health scare a number of years ago his focus expanded to education by launching the Apartment University on top of the 18 books he's contributed to as an author.  His experience is hard to find as is the knowledge it provided.  The principles he's seen that the most successful apartment investors have can be applied to all areas along with the lessons he shares that he's passing down to his grandkids.  You can find him and his team at SVNRock.ca
