Parliamentarians representing Upper Nile State’s Nasir County in the National Legislative Assembly plan to embark on a peace mission to restore calm in the area.  This follows confrontations between armed youth and members of the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) a week ago, leaving three army officers dead. Tensions between SSPDF and the locals armed youth have been attributed to lack of trust, prompting the need for confidence building.
