The Sandlot – Scott Evans Interview (Special Episode)
Description
On this special episode of Piecing It Together, I got the opportunity to interview Scott Evans, an author and inventor who also happens to be the guy who was the real kid that went over that wall to retrieve a baseball from a vicious dog named Hercules in the classic family film The Sandlot. Scott has a new book out called Pacoima Days about the true stories of his youth that led to both The Sandlot and another movie written by his brother, David Mickey Evans, Radio Flyer. We have a great conversation about his book and the movies that inspired and were inspired by The Sandlot
Pacoima Days is available now on Amazon and from Scott's website https://pacoimadays.com/
This past weekend he did a book signing at my friend Shawn Lane's No Regrets Bar here in Las Vegas. He'll be doing more signings around the country in the coming months, which you can also find out about on the website.
