Ford International Airport (GRR) recently started construction on a $135 million terminal-enhancement project designed to expand the terminal’s west side and improve the airport’s overall sustainability, airport officials say. Tory said the expansion would add a new consolidated baggage inspection system for improved transport of checked luggage, new ticket counters, larger baggage claim carousels, and many other improvements.
Not surprisingly, we learned that Ford International Airport is experiencing tremendous growth 2023 was another record-breaking year for the number of passengers served annually. Roughly 3.8 million travelers passed through the terminal last year.
