We should generously serve as we fish for men because doing so acknowledges these three realities.
1. Generous service is the response to people’s need.(v.1-2)
2. Generous service is the solution to people’s needs. (v.3-6)
3. Generous service becomes a platform for reaching people. (v. 7)
When fishermen don’t fish, they fight. When fishermen generously serve, the effort goes to the mission.
You can give and you can serve without fishing for men, but you cannot be a fisher of men without serving and giving.
