We got our hands on the new Blood Angels Codex and it’s amazing.  We jump out of the gate talking briefly about the not so great and then dive into the sweet sweet goodness that is the rest of the book.  It’s different but is it more powerful?  Is it the most powerful we’ve ever been?

I am loving the new Blood Angels book. There are three compelling detachments where you can make a case for most of your collection (the part of your collection that survived the cuts).

The Sanguinary Guard are going to make their way back on to the table top for sure.  Different weapon options but the same battlefield role and they absolutely do it better than they used to with a 4+ invulnerable save.

The Red, Black and the Gold are ways you can sort of define the detachments in your head.   Mephiston is back and in full glory almost back to the way he was in 5th edition.   BA fans s
