Join me in The Red Treehouse as I read you a classic horror short story--The Pit and the Pendulum by Edgar Allan Poe. This one is an absolute classic in the genre, though it was received with mixed reviews when first published. Not a paranormal story, this one uses realism and the five senses to build suspense and terror!
So, sit back, pull up the covers, and pay close attention as I read The Pit and the Pendulum.
