Heaven Begins Today
“Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’because the kingdom of God is in your midst.” Luke 17:20-21
Many Christians believe that the Kingdom of God/ Kingdom of Heaven* is something that is coming in the future or in the next life.
Jesus taught that it is already here available for us to experience and live in today. This shift in thinking transforms everything.
Jesus’s mission was to open our eyes to this possibility for us individually and collectively- and to show us how to make it our reality.
Heaven begins today.

*Most biblical scholars agree that the phases Kingdom of God used primarily in Luke and the Kingdom of Heaven used primarily in Matthew are interchangeable.
