We begin our fourth series of The Contest & Me with a man who has arguably worked on more editions of the Eurovision Song Contest than anyone else. In his role as Senior Technical Director at the contest in Malmö he was responsible for every aspect of the show behind the scenes, and the competition in Sweden was his sixteenth time being involved with the show. He shares stories of ABBA, tales from 2024, including an exclusive on the UK's staging, and finally he shares a controversial change he'd like to see to the contest.
