What is a calorie deficit?
Our bodies use calories for energy throughout the day. These calories come from the food we eat.
When we consume fewer calories than our bodies burn, we enter a calorie deficit.
This deficit forces the body to tap into stored energy reserves, like fat, to keep functioning.
This process leads to weight loss.
