Penn State practice recap

Penn State opened the doors of the Lasch Football facility last Thursday, so today is our first chance to discuss what happened during our view of open practice. More importantly, head coach James Franklin spoke late last week and discussed his team's progress to that point. Our experts were on hand and will discuss his comments in our weekly segment, Between the Lines. Bauer and Fitz will give you the context and meaning behind Franklin's comments about the team's competitiveness during camp, their progress in installing the playbook, and more.

We'll also preview tonight's action by discussing the storylines that they find most compelling as the team transitions from camp to West Virginia prep in the next few days.

Player spotlight

In addition to Franklin, Bauer spoke with Penn State cornerback Cam Miller during camp. We'll discuss his recent article breaking down the team's six-man cornerback competition. Meanwhile, Fitz wrote about two Pennsylvania wide receivers, Anthony Ivey and Mehki Flowers. How are they progressing so far this fall? He'll discuss those articles.
